Background

A totaliser is a great way to rally supporters around a communal target with a fixed low ask and short window to participate.

As a supplement to the main Christmas appeal, it was a great pleasure to create something that's primary purpose was to delight and charm.

I had originally pitched the idea of a stained glass window, in our ongoing pursuit to connect donors with their impact, whereby you could select a small piece of the window to 'light up,' not dissimilar to lighting a candle in a church.

The final design makes strides in this direction - simply hovering over the donate button temporarily lights up the entire window.
